Associate of Arts Degree in Education (for students abroad)
The Associate of Arts degree in Education is a career ladder
program for teachers in rural areas and teaching aides in the
urban areas, particularly in the countries where some rural
teachers and teaching aids in urban areas only have high school
education. Having acquired the necessary skills at the entry
level of their employment, they lack higher education for
advancement. They excel in their occupation, and they may wish
to acquire the less expensive and less lengthy Associate degree
in their field of interest for the following reasons:
credentials for promotion, achieving higher salaries,
opportunity for teaching positions, acquisition of the entrance
degree toward further studies later at the Bachelor degree
level, acquisition of current knowledge in their occupation,
personal satisfaction in academic accomplishments, or furthering
opportunities within the limits of their financial resources.
